We’re at Starbucks HQ tomorrow from 11-1pm. It’s a really fun outdoor event that happens rain or shine. We have loved doing this event at Starbucks because the fellow vendors are fun, have lovely products and there is always yummy food and music to boot. Now all the great Starbucks fall drinks are in season and I’m loving the Evolution juice drinks they have partnered up with.
People either love their Starbucks or just avoid it all together. I think Starbucks has done a great job of brining fair trade coffee to North American public to light. The other cool thing is that a lot of Pax’s favourite parks/playgrounds has been made possible by the Starbucks foundation so we are really thankful for that.
If you are in the Seattle SODO (south of downtown) area, come by Starbucks headquarters and do a little early Christmas shopping, eat some really yummy quinoa salad and grab yourself that famous pumpkin spice latte. I’m going to have special discounts just for the event!
Sorry for the silence at our end. I was on a mini-break and the week to catch up on every day things has been hectic. We also had a event at Starbucks headquarters in SODO, Seattle. I will hopefully be back to a regular blogging schedule but not before I let you all know that I will be putting new product in the shop and marking them down for the year end summer sale. We have a bunch of items that we offer that are not available online like these cuties:
Bloomers! from $12 to $6!
Bib from $12 to $6 (cute kiddo not included)
or how about this for the ladies:
It’s $37 and we will be marking it down by 25%! We have just one left!
The travel soap is the best deal of all from $22 to $6. One left!
We want to clear out our storage room so we can start designing new products with the women artisans we are partnered with. We want to continue to provide solid fair work for these wonderful women.
That’s just a few of the deals we have in store. I will try my best to post it all up and let you know via facebook and G+. I’m the jack of all trades here. I photograph, I upload, I fix, and entertain my kiddos so i’m up for the challenge!
Natural coque feather earrings. Handmade in Denmark. I love the just the touch of mustard yellow in these earrings.
Happy Friday! Enjoy your weekend. It’s my son’s last day of preschool so there will be some busy times for me this summer as I need to set him a schedule to enjoy summer and not waste away watching the tele.
My kiddos are under the weather today so I am going to get this quick post out as I seem to be in demand for comfort, nose wiping and cuddles.
We carry an assortment of beautiful jewelry but my season’s favourite is Raven + Lily’s Tigist necklace.
Tigist Necklace $108
It’s lovely, delicate and makes a statement without being completely overwhelming. I love the designs that R+L comes up with season after season. Made with recycled materials by Ethiopian women artisans. So pretty. Can be dressed up or down.
I’m into simple jewelry. I love the statement pieces but I can’t carry it off. I just don’t have that kind of swagger. I do love ths triple arrow piece made by women artisans in India. Designed by 4 all Humanity, an ethical fashion brand. Pretty cool stuff.
I only have enough time to link a couple of things. Family duty calls but I’ll be sure to spotlight more necklaces.
Would you like to join in fighting poverty around the world? If you have mad party planning skills or would just love to help, we are looking for ambassadors to hosts parties with our fair trade goodies. Invite your girlfriends, co-workers, aunts, moms etc. and have a party and share the wonderful redemptive stories of the women that have personally handmade your products.
